Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for loving me,
For working and suffering, to make me happy,
For your desire to fill me with your joy,

So that my life would bear the fruit you want,
Fruit that will last forever,
And that I will fully know only in heaven.

I trust, Lord Jesus, in your Father's love,
You and the Father are united in heaven,
And together you live with me in my daily life,
And he will give me whatever I can ask in your name.

Help us all to obey your law and love one another,
To work for one another's happiness and welfare,
And to make this world a better place for all.
